Moving Ben

Last weekend we were down in Brighton ,helping Ben move out of his flat,and in to Dan and Lorraines for a few days prior to his move to sweden.







We hired a van,which had a mishap with a bus in Western Rd.


Our house is full now.

Alex had just had a shave,which I think makes him look very young.He is wearing his acubra hat.I think thats how you spell it.

The kitchen where we cooked a special meal on our last night.It was St.Patricks night so we cooked irish stew,soda bread,and collcanon. Delicious.

Alex and Lisa cooked us a breakfast at The Lindon,before we left for the airport.

It was delicious,the scrambled eggs are made with cream,and everything is cooked in butter.




The cookies from the local bakers survived the journey.

Last few days

On Monday,it was a B/H ,so we went wine Tasting locally.We had a wonderfull Lunch,with lots of delicious wine,at one of our stops enroute.

Alone in Sydney.

We are just back from a wonderfull few days in Sydney.My suitcase liked it so much,it stayed an extra day!!!













It arrived back in a taxi this morning,all complete,thank goodness, as our passports were in there.

We had the best lunch ever at the waterfront resturant. We were by the bridge and the opera house.

Alex is in his work kitchen at linden Gardens.All his guests have this cheese and fruit platter,along with wine of their choice ,included in the price.



We went to Daniel and Lorraines favourite juice bar.


This is Alex and Lisa's house in observatory rd. It has that same wonderfull view as the observation tower,we saw last time.

Just arrived in Australia.

Alex met us at the airport in his new car,which Dad enjoyed driving on wednesday to Stevenson"s falls in Maryville which is an hour away, through the mountains.

For 3 nights we are staying in Lindon cottage ,which is one of the special retreats at Lyndon.Alex and Lisa are pictured in the lounge there.

Thats all now ,we are sitting on the deck at Observatory road,having some wine.

Over excited !!!!!

Not long now,till we fly away. I cant settle to much,I just keep thinking about about seeing Alex and Lisa.

It is so wonderfull when you come through arrivals,and amongst all the other folks waiting you see their dear little smiley faces. :)

This time next week we might be sitting outside having a BBQ and a cold drink.

Tonight we are having Sweet potato and chilli soup .

This was took last night, there were lots of people down on the beach, taking photos. Some children were paddling, it was a nice day.



At six pm, we were sitting on the seafront having a drink, it was a little cold, but this time next week we will be very hot in singapore.

This morning a half marathon was taking place, I wished I was taking part.

Doctors visit

Dad has a lump on his dodah, but he has been told it is probably vascular,but he is seeing a specialist next monday,privately, because he doesnt want a long wait.So I feel happier now.

I am going to cook a valentines meal now,for the love of my life.xxxx

LIVERPOOL,AGAIN.

Last week,we visited Liverpool again,and it was a very snowy trip.I took Jarvis on a walking tour,around the town and Docks.
He got very cold and was sick twice,I dont think he enjoyed it. When we got back to the Hotel there was no hot food ,only sandwiches.Dad was in a meeting all day.

Ever since July 2001,When Alex and Lisa left for Australia,I have kept a written Journal, of our everyday life and times.I find it easier to do ,than this blog. Its not easy to say what you want,unlike the journal,which is not read by anyone instantly.I am worried about something tonight.I will be able to say soon.

The Best month.

At long last ,the month we have been waiting for so long has arrived.

We are going to see Alex and Lisa,and now we count in days not months.Hooray,Hooray. We are so getting excited.

Today is Dan and Lorraines 4th wedding aniversary.Happy aniversary to you both. Have a nice meal at Food for Friends tonight.

It is also Peters 24th birthday, and Auntie Margarets 60th birthday.

At the farm,yesterday. My Lady S went to see The sound of music, So I took the dogs out for a 3 hour walk.The chickens were enjoying the sunshine as well.


Nigel came up today ,Dad helped him with his CV and I cooked a wholesome sunday Dinner for us all.
